Karachi weather: The new monsoon system will cause rain to persist for five days.

There has been a welcome shift in the weather as light to heavy rains have been falling in different parts of Karachi. The rains have brought much-needed respite from the summer heat to many areas, including Tower, II Chundrigar Road, Liaquatabad, Nazimabad, Guru Mandir, and Garden.

Karachi residents have been enjoying the overcast skies and mild rain in the morning and evening, which has greatly lessened the heat.

The Met Department reports that the city is experiencing gloomy weather, with light rain continuing into the evening. This adds to the lovely atmosphere that the city has to offer. It further stated that the city will likely get mild rain for the following five days, with Sunday forecast to see severe rain and thunder.

A fresh monsoon system is predicted to arrive in Karachi starting tomorrow, bringing with it the city's fourth spell of rain on August 4 and 5, according to Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz. It is expected that this monsoon system will produce mild to moderate rain and that Sunday may see sporadic thunderstorms.

According to him, August will likely continue to be a lovely month with temperatures between 30 and 33 degrees Celsius.

Karachi's temperature right now is 28 degrees Celsius with 87% relative humidity. The temperature is being further lowered by the 32 km/h winds.

Residents of Karachi should continue to get a reprieve from the ongoing rains and the impending monsoon spell, which will make the often hot and muggy metropolis more tolerable at this time.

Meanwhile, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and the Met Department have repeatedly warned about above-average rainfall during this year's monsoon in Islamabad. People are preparing for the possibility of devastating river flooding and urban inundation across the nation.
