Nation Celebrates Quaid-e-Azam’s 148th Birth Anniversary with Patriotic Zeal

The nation is celebrating the 148th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, with patriotic zeal and fervor. This significant day serves as a reminder of his visionary leadership that not only secured a homeland for Muslims but also laid the foundation for a nation built on equality, justice, and democracy.

The day began with special prayers at mosques across the country, seeking progress, prosperity, and unity for Pakistan. A 21-gun salute in the federal and provincial capitals marked the dawn of the day, reflecting the nation's respect and reverence for its founding leader. The national flag has been hoisted at major government and private buildings nationwide, symbolizing unity and pride.

One of the day’s highlights was the graceful change of guard ceremony held at the Mazar-e-Quaid in Karachi. A smartly turned-out contingent of Pakistan Military Academy Kakul assumed guard duties during the ceremony. Commandant Pakistan Military Academy Kakul, Major General Iftikhar Hassan Chaudhry, served as the chief guest. He reviewed the parade, laid a floral wreath, and offered Fateha at the mausoleum. In addition, he recorded his impressions in the visitors' book, honoring the Father of the Nation's enduring legacy.

Earlier in the day, Quran Khawani was held at the Mazar-e-Quaid, further emphasizing the nation’s collective gratitude and respect for Quaid-e-Azam’s sacrifices and achievements. Special ceremonies, including seminars, conferences, debates, cultural events, and exhibitions, are being organized nationwide to pay tribute to his remarkable leadership and vision. These events shed light on his life, struggles, and achievements, promoting his ideals of unity, faith, and discipline.

Educational institutions are also actively participating in the celebrations. Schools and colleges are holding debates, art competitions, and essay writing contests to educate the younger generation about Quaid-e-Azam’s principles and his pivotal role in the creation of Pakistan. These activities aim to inspire the youth to embrace his values and contribute to the nation’s progress.

Television and radio channels are airing special programs and documentaries throughout the day, while newspapers have published detailed supplements recounting Quaid-e-Azam’s unparalleled contributions and enduring legacy. Through these efforts, the nation reaffirms its commitment to its vision of a progressive, inclusive, and democratic Pakistan.

As the country commemorates this historic occasion, it is a moment for reflection and renewal of the resolve to uphold the ideals of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, ensuring that his dream for Pakistan continues to thrive.
